Just about ten minutes from Columbia up Route B is the town of Hallsville, which unlike many small towns in America has experienced rapid growth in recent years. That growth is seen throughout the community, including in their high school.
The school added varsity football in 2008, and that's brought about a great deal of excitement. We'll hear about life at Hallsville High School from Sally Daly Culwell, the school's secretary. Part of a family with four generations in the school, Sally spends her days helping the students in countless ways. She tells about her love of the kids there, and why Hallsville's such a special place to her, even as the community grows.
