University of Missouri Athletics has announcedCuonzo Martin will be the new head coach for the Missouri men's basketball team. There will be a public "celebration" at Mizzou Arena at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 20.

According to several news outlets, UC Berkeley Head Basketball Coach Cuonzo Martin has resigned from his current position to take up a role as head coach at the University of Missouri.

Martin, who would come to the university with nearly ten years in head coaching experience, was reportedly offered the position Wednesday morning. He would succeed former head coach Kim Anderson, whostepped down earlier this month.
