Listen to the full show here:
The Bad Kids follows three students and the principal of Black Rock Continuation High School. Black Rock is an alternative high school giving students their last chance at graduation and a diploma. The film tells the story of students facing the struggles and obstacles that make it difficult for them to reach their goal of graduation.
Fulton and Pepe talked with Coffelt about the process of deciding which storylines to feature in the film as they worked to strike a balance between sharing a wide range of stories and experiences and taking an intimate look a few students' lives.
