Governor Mike Parson has made a decision, and it has nothing to do with legislation.  Parson announced Thursday that he and his wife, Teresa, will host the 1st annual Parson Family Fall Festival at the Missouri Governor’s Mansion on October 6.  The event, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. will feature vendors, activities for kids and a bluegrass band.

It will include a train for kids to ride, caramel apples, apple cider and kettle corn, a photo booth, pumpkin painting, a straw maze, face paintings and more.  Attendees can also tour the Governor’s Mansion.  There’s no admission charge.

”With fall upon us, there is no better time to have our Family Fall Festival, and we are incredibly honored to host this year’s festivities at the Missouri Governor’s Mansion,” said Governor Mike Parson and First Lady Teresa Parson in a joint statement. “We are looking forward to seeing everyone come out, participate in all of the activities, welcome in the fall season and best of all--have fun!”
