Planning and Zoning Approves Plan for $27 Million Long-Term Care Hospital

Columbia’s Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously approved Landmark Hospitals’ $27 million project to build a long-term care hospital at a public hearing on Thursday.

This will be Columbia’s second Landmark hospital and the fourth Landmark hospital in Missouri, according to previous Missourian reporting.

In an application to the Missouri Health Facilities Review Committee for a certificate of need, Landmark said the long-term care hospital will provide in-house wound care, computed tomography scans, medical office space and an on-call center.
