AccurianNPR Labs has approved a tabletop model produced by Radio Shack Accurian. The least expensive tabletop receiver widely available on store shelves, the Accurian Tabletop HD Radio currently is available at Radio Shack outlets for $99.97. Refurbished models can be had via the Radio Shack Web site for $20 less.
SangeanPictured at left is the Sangean HDR-1 Table Top HD Radio Receiver. List price is $249.99. You can pick one up at Sangean's Web site.

I-SonicThe Polk Audio I-Sonic boasts not just HD Radio multicast capabilities, but also XM Satellite radio-readiness, a DVD player, an iPod input, and high-performance audio. Current list price for the I-Sonic ES (Entertainment System) is $599. Coming soon is the ES2, featuring integrated iPod docking and iTunes tagging capabilities, and listing at $499.

SonySony offers the XDR-S3HD, a tabletop model that lists at $199.95 that offers all the benefits of an HD clock radio packaged inside a wood-based cabinet. Find out more here.

CambridgeAlso available now: the Cambridge SoundWorks Radio 820HD. The October 2007 issue of Wired magazine describes it as "nothing but quality." It currently lists at $199.99.

DirectedDirected Electronics has made available the Table Top HD Radio 44200, which features a large, backlit display for artist and title data, plus dual alarm, 30 station presets, and more. It is currently available online for $149.99, half the original suggested retail price.
HD PulseThe Visteon HD Pulse HDT 200 offers dual alarm, 10 presets, EQ settings, and a wood cabinet with cherry finish and pearl white faceplate. It is available through the Advanced Global Technology Web site for $199.99.


DICE DICE Electronics is marketing the DICE iTR-100 tabletop HD Radio receiver. It bundles the digital radio experience with a sleek retro design. The current price for the radio is $149.99. An auxiliary speaker is optional. Find out more here.

Insignia The Insignia 75W Compact Shelf System offers not just an HD Radio, but also DVD, CD, and MP3 playback, and a front-panel USB port compatible with MP3 players and other digital devices. It is currently available at Best Buy's Web site for $159.99.

Ford
HD Radio is a factory option within the Logic7 Audio System, available on all BMW models manufactured since April 2007.
Ford announced in September that it would be the first automaker to offer HD Radio across multiple product lines. Nearly all 2008 Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury models offer it as an option. Additionally, many 2005 through 2007 models can be retrofitted with HD Radio.


HD ZoomVisteon's HD Zoom HD Radio component tuner kit contains a tuner box ideal for the dashboard, but small enough to be mounted under a seat. Retail price is $199.99. Find out more here.
JVCJVC's KD-HDR1 AM/FM/HD CD receiver (pictured, left) contains a built-in HD Radio multicast tuner. And the changer bus can accommodate an iPod, satellite radio, or a CD changer. Suggested list price is $199.95. Also available: the KT-HDP1, which JVC has dubbed "the world's smallest HD Radio tuner," suitable for car installation or home docking, and available for $149.95.

AlpineAlpine's new HD Radio tuner module, the TUA-T500HD, is compatible with a variety of 2007 head units. Suggested retail price is $250. Details here.
SonySony offers the XT-100HD, an HD Radio tuner currently priced at $99.99 that is compatible with Sony car stereos. Find out more here.
