Absentee ballots will be available starting Tuesday, June 23, in Greene County for eligible voters unable to their regular polling place on August 4.

Voters may cast an absentee ballot in the Greene County Clerk’s Office, 1126 N. Boonville, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday until the day before the election.  Homebound or out-of-town voters may request an absentee ballot by mail, either handwritten or from a fillable form on the Greene County Clerk’s website.

New rules for this year allow anyone at higher risk for complications from COVID-19 to vote absentee.  Those who are concerned about contracting the illness but aren’t at high risk may vote absentee but have to have their ballots notarized.
