If you want to take the tram ride to the top of the Gateway Arch, get there within the next month.

Millions of dollars of renovations are underway at the Arch and its grounds. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the trams and the underground visitors center will close for at least two months starting Jan. 4 as part of the renovation project.

The Jefferson National Expansion Memorial says Arch rides and some features of the visitors center will reopen in March or later in the spring.

The $380 million reconstruction project will include a new, larger underground museum and many other improvements.
