The I-70 bridge that crosses the Missouri River at Rocheport will be closed down to one lane each way intermittently until this Thursday, August 31, for routine inspections.
Missouri Department of Transportation crews will be closing one westbound lane from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, and one eastbound lane will be closed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.
The inspection is in preparation for a 2019 restoration of the bridge. MoDOT says drivers may experience traffic delays and should allow extra time for travel on I-70.
