Sunday will mark the one-year anniversary of the massive earthquake and tsunami that hit coastal Japan.
The wave of water -- 40 to 60 feet high -- erased coastal towns and killed more than 15,000 people. At least 340,000 people lost their homes. The tsunami also crippled the Fukushima Daichi nuclear reactor, and threatened to cause a nuclear catastrophe.
Host David Reed spoke with Martin Fackler, Tokyo Bureau Chief for the New York Times, and James Acton, a nuclear policy expert for the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. They discussed the scene one year later, along with the wider impact of this nuclear accident on the future use of nuclear power.
