Organizers are gearing up to clean the shorelines of Lake Taneycomo on September 21, and they’re looking for volunteers and boats.   The annual event is hosted by Ozarks Water Watch. Volunteers will pick up trash at the lake and get close to the shoreline on boats.  The event will kickoff at three locations starting at 9:00 AM:  Branson Lakeside RV Campground, Rockaway Beach Park, and Empire Park at Forsyth. Extra boats, including canoes and kayaks, are needed for the day. Gloves, bags, and lunch are provided. Anyone hoping to volunteer their time—or a boat for use in the cleanup—can call 417-739-5001 or go to www.ozarkswaterwatch.org
