While actual travel is out of the question for most of us while we shelter-in-place because of the coronavirus pandemic, books can still take us places. They lift us up and take us right out of the anxiety, stress and fear we might be experiencing.
Our guest today is novelist Alex George who is the founder and director of the Unbound Book Festival and also owns Columbia’s Skylark Bookshop.
We also talk with Jennifer Erickson with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. Her organization offers stimulating classes and networks for adults over the age of 50.
