MSU Alum Donates $835,000 For Business Scholarshops

A donation by a Missouri State University alumnus will provide scholarships for MSU business students.

Dr. Raymond Lansford’s estate gifted $835,000 to the university.  Lansford, who died just before his 99th birthday, graduated from MSU with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and General Business in 1947.

After a career in the Army, Lansford became a professor of business at the University of Missouri and taught until his retirement in 1984, according to MSU.
