Update:  The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services is reporting 14 cases of COVID-19 in Greene County.  There are three other confirmed cases in the Ozarks:  One each in Camden, Christian and Jasper Counties.

Original Story: Two more cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Greene County bringing the total to 10.

To protect the patients’ right to privacy, identifying information will not be provided, according to the Springfield-Greene County Health Department.  It's working to  otify people who have had contact with the patients.

The ninth case traveled domestically to an impacted area, a news release states. The 10th case remains under epidemiological investigation.

Earlier Saturday, the health department notified the public that a Missouri State University student had tested positive.  But that person is now in Boone County and is not included in the Greene County total.
