The City of Springfield wants your input on a plan to spend nearly $1 million in U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development CARES Act funding.

The Citizens Advisory Committee for Community Development helped come up with the plan for spending the money.  The draft Fiscal Year 2019 Annual Action Plan Amendments and Disaster/Emergency Declaration Amendments to the Citizens Participation Plan contain the funding recommendations.

Written comments on both sets of amendments may be sent to batchley@springfieldmo.gov through 5 p.m. May 29.

City Council could vote on the amendments June 1.  A public hearing will also be held at that meeting.  To sign up to speak, call (417) 864-1443 by 5 p.m. May 29.
