The Ozarks Regional YMCA is open again with some restrictions.  Doors opened back up Monday morning.

There are fewer times when the Y is open than before the coronavirus pandemic, with all locations closed on Sundays.  That’s to allow staff to clean and sanitize the facilities.  And not all locations are reopening.

There’s a single entry and exit, and you’ll notice staff wearing personal protective equipment such as masks and gloves.

Members will be required to sign a waiver when they check in, and they’ll be asked to scan their own cards.

According to the YMCA, all open areas inside the buildings have been re-designed where necessary to help ensure social distancing between members.

Children under 16 are not allowed right now, and swimming pools, hot tubs, basketball and racquetball courts and locker rooms remain closed.

Hours at the Pat Jones YMCA and Monett Family YMCA are 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.  Hours at the Cassville Family YMCA are 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday.  The Dallas County Family YMCA is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday and Friday 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
