This week on the show: your child's school lunches aren't likely to get much healthier anytime soon. Plus: why you should still get the flu vaccine.

Hosted by Kyle Deas.

More and more children are depending on the National School Lunch Program to feed their children. Next year, the federal government will hand down new guidelines for the nutritional makeup of school lunches, which are notoriously unhealthy.

But those new guidelines have hit a big roadblock. And it's name is Congress. Harvest Public Media's Clay Masters has this story.

Plus: Margaret Donnelly is the director of the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. The department recently launched a campaign to encourage Missourians to get the influenza vaccine. She spoke to us about the effort and about why everyone should get the flu vaccine.
