Segment 1: Busing to desegregate schools: then and now
For some, busing throughout the 1970s, '80s and '90s held a negative connotation. But education professor Erica Frankenberg and reporter Lynn Horsely say it ultimately benefitted students and communities, including Kansas City, Missouri.

Segment 2, beginning at 21:45: Cinemark is closed, so teens find new ways to keep busy
The Cinemark Palace at the Plaza permanently closed in May, leaving young people in the metro with one less place to hang out. One teen has collaborated with the YMCA to create a safe and interactive place for teens to hang out on Friday nights. Terrion Hudson and councilwoman Alissia Canady gave their input for how teens can spend their summers in Kansas City.
