Seg. 1: Missouri Republicans On Guns | Seg. 2: Indie Film Critics

Segment 1: Republicans in Missouri say gun control is not the answer to gun violence.

Three Missouri cities rank in the top 25 most dangerous cities in America, according to USA Today. St. Louis is No. 1 and Kansas City is No. 5, yet, Missouri Sen. Bill Eigel says, "there is zero chance that gun legislation will advance in the legislature next year." Republican legislators say the solution is not gun control, but rather tough-on-crime policies in the short term and increased economic opportunity in the long term.

Segment 2, beginning at 27:25: The films now showing in Kansas City that you should — and shouldn't — see.

The Tivoli recently started operations at their new home inside the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, and our Film Critics raved about its current feature, Honeyland. The documentary follows the life of one of Europe's last wild beekeepers. They also reviewed a new biopic featuring Renee Zellweger as a timeless Judy Garland, and others.
