St. Louis' PrideFest Moving To August Due To Coronavirus

The annual Pride Festival and Parade in St. Louis has been postponed until August in an effort to help slow the spread of the coronavirus.

Pride St. Louis announced Tuesday that the festival and parade, which had been scheduled for June 27-28, will now be Aug. 15-16. The organization said in a statement that the “health and safety of our LGBTQIA+ Community, our family, and all those who celebrate with us, remains our main priority.”

The Grand Pride Parade will be at noon on Aug. 16. The festival will remain at Soldier’s Memorial in downtown St. Louis.
