A visitor to the Branson area tested positive for COVID-19 after they returned to their home county, according to the Stone and Taney County Health Departments.

The person went to Panera in Branson on Monday, June 15, without wearing a mask.  And they visited Silver Dollar City June 15 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. while wearing a mask (the theme park is requiring all visitors and staff to wear face coverings).

An out of state visitor to the area tested positive for COVID-19 after they returned home, according to TCHD.  They visited several locations while wearing a mask.

Those locations are:

  • Wednesday, June 10:  Top of the Rock
  1. - Lost Canyon Cave & Nature Trail at 2:00 pm (masked)
  2. - Osage Restaurant from 5:15 pm at dusk (masked)
  • Thursday, June 11:  Harter House in Hollister in the morning (masked)

  • State Park Marina Boat Rental from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm (masked)
  • Downing Street Pour House from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm (masked)

Anyone who visited those locations on those dates should monitor for symptoms although public health officials say the risk for contracting COVID-19 is low.

Symptoms include:  fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting and diarrhea.
