The White House released a new climate change report Tuesday. It predicts threats to agriculture including severe weather, more pests and greater demands for water and energy. Harvest Public Media’s Amy Mayer reports.

Agriculture already uses up tons of resources and land. With the world’s population exploding, how can we grow more food? And how can we limit its damage to the environment? The cover story of the May issue of National Geographic is called A five step plan to feed the world. Jonathan Foley wrote the story and is an ecology professor at the University of Minnesota. Harvest Public Media’s Jeremy Bernfeld recently spoke with him.

Scientific studies are often left to researchers. But some Missouri residents might get the opportunity to participate in one. KBIA's Grant Suneson reports.
