There are two columns titled “absentee” which might be confusing as voters track results. Greene County Clerk Shane Schoeller explains that the column to the far right is recording all ballots that arrived by mail this year—both mailed-in absentee ballots and no-excuse mail-in ballots. The first column indicates the in-person absentee votes.
