Views Preview: ISIS video shows beheading of 2nd U.S. journalist

A video released by the militant group ISIS appears to show the beheading of American journalist Steven J. Sotloff, 31.  The freelance reporter was taken captive while reporting on the bloody civil war in Syria last year.  Sotloff is the second American journalist slain by ISIS militants in two weeks in retaliation for military strikes against the group.

Obama: ‘We don’t have a strategy yet’

President Barack Obama held a news conference to discuss foreign policy issues, namely those in Iraq, Syria and Ukraine. NBC's Chuck Todd asked the president if he would seek consult from congress about possible military strikes in Syria.  His answer, some say, could be one of the biggest gaffes of his presidency.

Who should name names?

In her new book, Off the Sidelines, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) reveals several of her male senate colleagues of called her "pooky" and "fat." CNN Chief Congressional Correspondent backed up some of Gillibrand's statements, saying on the air that members of congress had made similar comments about Bash' body following the birth of her son.  But, neither women will say who it was that displayed the boorish behavior.
