Movies at Founders Park continue this weekend at Founders Park in downtown Springfield.  See “The Lion King” Friday night (7/13) and “Dirty Dancing” Saturday night (7/14) at dusk.  Take blankets and lawn chairs.  Concessions will be available.  Admission is free.

The 20th annual Fat Tire Festival is Friday through Sunday (7/14-7/15) in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. 

CoxHealth invites kids to take part in Kids Sewing Day starting at 10 Friday morning (7/13) at Cox North.  They’ll make pillows for heart patients, eye pillows and blankets for those in the hospital.  Registration is requested at (417) 269-3169. 

Yoga on the Square is at 12:10 this afternoon (7/13) on Park Central Square.  Take a yoga mat and water.  Admission is free. 

Missouri State’s Tent Theatre presents “The Drowsy Chaperone” Friday night and Saturday night (7/13-7/14) at 8. 

The2018 Laclede County Fair continues through Saturday (7/14) at the Laclede County Fairgrounds, 701 Mills Drive in Lebanon. 

“Frolic of the Mind: The Illustrious Life of Rose O’Neill” is on exhibit at the Springfield Art Museum, 1111 E. Brookside Drive, through August 5. 

The exhibit,“Birthplace of Route 66, Memories of the Mother Road,” is currently on display at the History Museum on the Square on Park Central Square in Springfield. 

The 2018 Sundance Film Festival Short Film Tour is at the Moxie Cinema, 305 S. Campbell in Springfield, this weekend. 

Farmers Market of the Ozarkswill host the Food Truck Palooza Saturday (7/14) from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the market’s usual trucks as well as four more.  There will also be live music. 

The Watershed Summer Gala 2018 starts Saturday (7/14) at 5 p.m. at the Bond Learning Center, 2401 S. Kansas Expressway.  Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 at the door.  Food and drinks will be available throughout the evening.  The evening also includes live music, a live and silent auction, a whiskey pull and wine grab and more. 

Dickerson Park Zoo is offering child admission for all ages through Saturday (7/14). 

Second Saturday will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday (7/14) at 13 locations in downtown Springfield. 

Christian County Master Gardeners will host apollination seminar Saturday afternoon (7/14) from 1 to 4 at the Nixa Community Center, 701 N. Taylor Way in Nixa.  Registration is required at (417) 581-3558. 

The program, Venomous Snakes of Missouri, will be held Saturday (7/14) from 1 to 2 at the Springfield Conservation Nature Center, 4601 S. Nature Center Way.  For more information, (417) 888-4237. 

The 75th Carver Day is Saturday (7/14) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at George Washington Carver National Monument in Diamond, MO with a guest speaker, music, exhibitors, children’s activities and more. 

Downtown Diversity Pridefest 2018 will be held Saturday (7/14) in downtown Joplin featuring live entertainment, vendors and activities. 

The program, “Ask the Experts: Home Buying,” starts Saturday morning (7/14) at 10 for adults at the Midtown Carnegie Branch Library. 

Learn about spiders, bees and wasps at a discovery table Saturday (7/14) from 10 a.m. to noon at the Shepherd of the Hills Conservation Center, 483 Hatchery Rd. in Branson. 

Christian the Magician, resident magician at the St. Louis City Museum, will present a show Saturday morning (7/14) at 10:30 at the Library Center and Saturday afternoon at 2 at the Schweitzer Brentwood Branch for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade. 

“Memories of Springfield’s Past: Preserving Lincoln High School’s Legacy” will be held Saturday afternoon (7/14) from 1 to 4 at the Midtown Carnegie Branch Library.  The public is invited to share stories of Lincoln High School, and library staff will record the stories, scan documents and photograph artifacts. 

Moxie Cinema will host “Moxie Mornings” Saturday morning (7/14) at 10 at the theatre, 305 S. Campbell in downtown Springfield.  Kids two to six-years-old will watch an innovative short film and take part in hands-on activities. 

The Tender Loving Care Ridewill take place Saturday (7/15) starting and ending in Flippen, Arkansas.  Motorcycles and cars are welcome.  The event will also include vendors, a 50/50 raffle and live music.  Proceeds benefit Twin Lakes Therapy and Living Center. 

The Great Northark Rummage Salewill be held Saturday (7/14) at the Pioneer Pavilion on Northark’s south campus in Harrison, Arkansas.  Booth rentals help raise money for the Northark Crisis Fund, which benefits students and employees in times of crisis. 

The Lebanon Farmer’s Market will be open Saturday (7/14) from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in downtown Lebanon, off Jefferson by the railroad tracks.  

The C-Street City Market will be open Saturday (7/14) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. near the Footbridge on Commercial Street. 

The Greater Ozarks Farmers’ Market will be open from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday (7/14) in the southeast corner of the Battlefield Mall Parking Lot. 

Farmers’ Market of the Ozarks will be open Saturday (7/14) from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 2144 E. Republic Rd. in Springfield.

The Eureka Springs, Arkansas Farmer’s Market will be open tomorrow (7/14) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Eureka Springs Community Center, 44 Kingshighway. 

The local film, “Sub Rosa,” will be shown Sunday night (7/15) at 6 at the Moxie Cinema, 305 S. Campbell in Springfield. 

Sunday Make ‘n Play is Sunday (7/15) from 2 to 4 at the Schweitzer Brentwood Branch Library for families with infants through fourth graders.
