Kelly was raised in Milwaukee and loves storytelling in every shape and form. She is a student in the convergence journalism program and has worked with outlets like Global Journalist, Newsy and The Missourian. You can hear her every week on KCOU-FM playing independent music and when she's not busy reporting, chances are she's trying to promote environmental sustainability on campus. She has always been attracted to KBIA's newsroom because of its creative atmosphere.
