Paul Pepper: Melanie Knocke, CPS Planetarium, "SOFIA"

Today Paul Pepper visits with MELANIE KNOCKE, Director of Columbia Public Schools' Planetarium, about her upcoming trip aboard SOFIA, a modified Boeing 747 that's outfitted with a 100" telescope near the tail. It's all part of NASA's outreach program to instill that, among other things, "you don't have to be an astronaut to be a part of NASA." May 16, 2016
