A southwest Missouri man accused of plotting to open fire in a movie theater will have his trial outside Polk County.

KOLR-TV reports a judge granted a change of venue to Henry County for Blaec Lammers. The 21-year-old Bolivar man is now scheduled to go on trial Dec. 16 on charges of making terroristic threats, first-degree assault and armed criminal action.

Prosecutors allege that Lammers planned to fire on the opening-night crowd for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Part 2" at a Bolivar theater last November.

He was arrested after his mother contacted police saying he had gone off his medication for mental health conditions and that she feared he was planning an attack.

Investigators determined Lammers had legally purchased two assault rifles and ammunition.
