The ATF and the St. Louis Regional Bomb and Arson Unit are investigating a series of fires at churches.

Authorities say the front doors of four churches have been set on fire in the past week. No one was hurt in any of the fires and damage was minor.

Investigators are trying to determine if the fires are connected. All four occurred within a short distance of each other, starting with a blaze Oct. 8 at Bethel Nondenominational Church in St. Louis County.

The second fire was at New Northside Missionary Baptist Church in Jennings on Saturday, followed by fires on Wednesday at St. Augustine Catholic Church in St. Louis and the most recent blaze, just after midnight Thursday at New Testament Church in the city.
