The MUPD identified a suspect in an assault reported Sunday. At approximately 2:30 p.m. the MUPD received information that a man followed and attempted to hug and kiss a female victim. At 3 p.m. today MUPD said the suspect was identified by an officer on campus and transported to MUPD for further investigation. The suspect is not affiliated with the university.
