NWS Issues Hazardous Weather Outlook for Missouri

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for parts of northeast, central and southwest Missouri, including Boone County.

A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for much of northeast, central and southwest Missouri until 9 p.m Monday.

Strong to severe thunderstorms are expected during the late afternoon and early evening hours Monday with wind gusts potentially as high as 60 mph, according to the weather service.
