Ten Injured in School Bus Crash

Three vehicles, including a school bus, were involved in a crash on Interstate 70 near Rocheport Thursday morning.

A bus from Our Lady of Lourdes Interparish School in Columbia stopped behind a car and was rear-ended by a tractor-trailer.

The Columbia Missourian reported there were 79 people aboard two separate busses. Nine 8th grade students and a teacher on the first bus were hospitalized. Nobody was injured on the second bus.

Everyone hospitalized was released early this afternoon, according to Principal Elaine Hassemer.
