Wagner to join Hartzler in Columbia on jobs tour

Republican Rep. Vicky Hartzler will have some company when she visits Columbia Monday in the race for a second term in Missouri's Fourth Congressional District.

Second District GOP hopeful Ann Wagner plans to join Hartzler at the Boone County Republican Party headquarters. Hartlzer then heads to Columbia's CARFAX data center on her own.

Hartzler faces Democrat Teresa Hensley, the Cass County prosecutor, in the Nov. 6 general election in a reconfigured district that now includes Boone County.

Wagner is seeking an open seat in the suburban St. Louis district created by incumbent Rep. Todd Akin's decision to run for the U.S. Senate.
