The Toxic Teens readjust their robot.
Kathleen Masterson

This week, we hear from a Washington University virologist whose made it his mission to combat bio-terrorism. Plus: robots!

Hosted by Kyle Deas.

David Wang is a virologist at Washington University, and he’s spent his career studying emerging diseases and anti-bioterrorism strategies. But his job took on a new importance after September 11th, and after the anthrax attacks of late 2001. He spoke with St. Louis Public Radio’s Veronique LaCapra.

But real robots are less scary and more interesting – as the kids competing in the 2nd 4-H Robotics Challenge found out. Harvest Public Media’s Kathleen Masterson has this story.
