Arrow Rock's J. Huston Tavern has seen a lot in its nearly 200 years in existence (even ghosts!). Two years ago, a fire destroyed the kitchen leading to a renovation that general manager ALAN HAGEDORN says will reopen to the public sometime this summer! Also, BRITTANY WHITLEY, PhD, continues the conversation about MOST Policy Initiative, a non-partisan effort to connect science and scientists with lawmakers in Jefferson City. (4:00) July 23, 2021

Paul Pepper was a fixture on the mid-Missouri airwaves from 1969 until his retirement in 2023. He started hosting Radio Friends with Paul Pepper for KBIA-FM in 2009 after a remarkable 40-year on-air career at KOMU-TV.
