3 People With COVID-19 Visited Several Springfield Locations While Symptomatic And Unmasked

The Springfield-Greene County Health Department is notifying the public of potential community exposures from three COVID-19 positive individuals. 

Prior to being diagnosed, the individuals visited these locations:

  • Uptown Cheapskate, 1724 E Battlefield Rd Ste B, Tuesday, June 23, sometime in the evening (infectious and symptomatic, not masked)
  • Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen, 1950 E Primrose St., on the patio from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, June 25,(infectious and symptomatic, not masked)
  • Char Steakhouse and Oyster Bar, 1620 E Republic Rd., on the patio Friday, June 26, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. (infectious but not symptomatic, not masked)
  • Georgia Macs, 1440 E Republic Rd., Friday, June 26, from 10 p.m. to Midnight (infectious but not symptomatic, not masked)
  • Friend’s Karaoke Pub, 1211 Battlefield Rd.,  Saturday, June 27, from 10:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. (infectious but not symptomatic, not masked)
  • Bass Pro Shops, 1935 S Campbell Ave., Monday, June 29, from 4:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. (infectious and symptomatic, not masked)
  • The Grotto West Coast Grill, 301 Battlefield Rd., Wednesday, July 1, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. (infectious but not symptomatic, not masked)
  • Hobby Lobby, 1535 Battlefield Rd., Wednesday, July 1, from 5 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. (infectious and symptomatic, not masked)
  • Buffalo Wild Wings, 900 E Battlefield Rd., Thursday, July 2, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. (infectious but not symptomatic, not masked)
  • NoBaked Cookie Dough Springfield, 1364 E Republic Rd.,  Thursday, July 2, from 8:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. (infectious and symptomatic, not masked)
  • Friend’s Karaoke Pub, 1211 Battlefield Rd., Thursday, July 2, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. (infectious but not symptomatic, not masked)

Prior to being diagnosed, one of the three cases worked at the following location:

  • The Home Depot, 2104 E Independence St., Thursday, July 2, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. (infectious but not symptomatic, masked)

Anyone who was at these locations on these dates is at low risk for contracting COVID-19, but should monitor for symptoms. There is no need to self-quarantine or isolate unless symptoms develop, according to the health department.
