The Highway Patrol is suspending driver road testing at all locations through March 31. Written testing services will continue, but the Highway Patrol will restrict the number of applicants allowed in facility at one time to make sure recommended social distancing measures are followed.
The patrol said it’s monitoring the status of the COVID-19 pandemic and will update the public on testing after March 31 as more information becomes available.
The Highway Patrol is asking the public to not take a written exam if they or a member of their household, a family member or a personal acquaintance has been diagnosed with COVID-19; they’ve had contact with anyone diagnosed with or suspected of having the illness; a medical professional has asked them to self-quarantine; or they have an undiagnosed fever, cough, shortness of breath or other symptom associated with COVID-19 or another upper respiratory infection.
