Johnson County Health Director | Kansas City's Comprehensive Plan | What Are You Streaming?

Segment 1, beginning at 5:16: The possible consequences of Johnson County school districts beginning the fall semester in person.

Health officials have recommended that schools not have students in classrooms this fall. But even as the number of new known cases shows no decline, some residents are arguing for their children to attend their brick-and-mortar schools.

Segment 2, beginning at 20:51: Kansas City, Missouri, has begun reviewing and updating its priorities for future land development decisions.

Kansas City unveiled FOCUS, its original Comprehensive Plan, in 1997. This year marks the first overhaul of that framework, called The KC Spirit Playbook. Two of the people involved discussed what is being considered and some of the factors that could influence the revised plan.

Segment 3, beginning at 41:37: You may be resigned to staying at home but there's still plenty of entertainment to stream.

Between searches for the newest film or original series, take the time to pull up some of your old favorites and rewatch them through the cultural and social lenses of today.
