Local Health Departments Announce Additional Potential COVID-19 Exposures

More potential community exposures from COVID-19 have been identified in southwest Missouri.

According to the Springfield-Greene County Health Department, a person with COVID-19, before being diagnosed, went to IHOP on N. Kansas Expressway Thursday, June 11, from 11 a.m. to noon without a mask.  They went to Longhorn Steakhouse on S. Glenstone from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 12, without a mask and to Applebee’s that same night from 8 to 10 while wearing a mask.

The person worked at multiple areas at the Walmart in Marshfield Saturday, June 13, from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. while wearing a mask.  And they visited Hyvee in Springfield Sunday, June 14, for an hour around noon without a mask.

The Taney County Health Department has confirmed the 26th case of COVID-19 in that county.

Before being diagnosed, that person visited CarHop Auto Sales and Finance 528 N Glenstone in

Springfield, Saturday, June 6th, from 2:45 pm-4:45pm.  They weren’t wearing a mask.

And on Saturday, June 13th, they went to the Walmart SuperCenter in Branson in the evening without wearing a mask. 

Anyone at those locations at those times should watch for symptoms.
