Credit College of the Ozarks
Dr. Howell W. Keeter, who worked for four decades at College of the Ozarks and who volunteered for several years afterwards, has died. Keeter passed away Sunday after a brief illness.
He worked in various roles at the college, including work coordinator, associate dean of administration, chancellor, vice-president and acting president.
A visitation will be held November Wednesday and Thursday, November 11 and 12, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Holt Chapel in Harrison, Arkansas. And a graveside service will be held Saturday, November 14, at 2 p.m. at the Blue Eye Cemetery.
