Missouri State University Libraries has been awarded an $18,000 grant for its Ozark Jubilee Digitization Project.  That’s a collaborative effort between MSU Libraries and the UCLA Film & Television Archive to digitize, describe, transcribe and provide free public access to a series of rare kinescope of the Ozark Jubilee, according to MSU.

The grant comes from the Grammy Museum Grant Program, headquartered in Los Angeles.

It will allow 10 more kinescopes to be digitized.  According to MSU, that includes several segments of the Junior Jubilee where young people such as Brenda Lee and Libby Horne performed.
