Update: Polk County Sheriff Searches For Missing Bolivar Man

The body of a Bolivar man who went missing Friday night from his family's lake home north of Bolivar has been found.  According to a Facebook post by Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association president, Crista Hogan, John David Hacker's body was found Thursday evening.  

Original Story:  The Polk County Sheriff's Office continues their search for a missing man from Bolivar.  The office issued an endangered person advisory for 39-year-old John David Hacker who went missing from 3119 S. 142nd Rd. Friday night.

According to the sheriff’s office, Hacker left the residence on foot and wasn’t wearing a coat.  He has a brain injury and suffers from mental illness and depression.  He is heavily medicated and may be hallucinating. 

Hacker is 6’3,” 210 pounds, with a beard and green eyes.  He was possibly wearing brown rimmed glasses, a black over green pullover shirt and navy slippers with white soles.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
