It’s been about 11 weeks since Boone County issued its initial stay at home orders and many businesses, schools, individuals and families went into isolation and lockdown mode.
Now, businesses are re-opening, clinics and hospitals are resuming routine health care, and in the midst of a social-justice movement and demonstrations, people are taking to the streets.
Meanwhile Columbia Public Schools have announced that parents have a clear choice this autumn: online or in-person classes. And MU has just announced its fall semester plans to hold in-person classes.
Where does all this leave us? Now we have decisions to make: Do we send the kids to school? Go out to eat? What is the risk of continuing to attend rallies and demonstrations?
