Daniel Litwin
Daniel Litwin is a Journalism and Spanish student at the University of Missouri. He hails from Dallas, TX, but he isn't a Cowboys fan. Daniel is a member of the Delta Chi Fraternity, music director for Mizzou Forte a capella and Alt-Host for MUTV's MU Tonight.

Chris Mathews
Chris Mathews was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He got his first taste of journalism while writing for his high school newspaper, prompting him to pursue a degree in the field. Chris left Texas and headed north to study at the Missouri School of Journalism. He graduated with a degree in entrepreneurial journalism and a minor in business in May 2016, but returned to MU in August to pursue a master’s degree centered around digital design and production. This is his first semester hosting “Off the Clock” on KBIA. In his free time, you'll likely find Chris playing guitar with friends or watching his favorite sports team, the San Antonio Spurs.

Nora Faris, a junior science and agricultural journalism major from Concordia, Missouri, is pursuing studies in agricultural marketing and broadcast reporting at the University of Missouri. She plans to obtain a law degree and pursue a career in government affairs or political communication in the agriculture industry.

Kevin Whitehead is the jazz critic for NPR's Fresh Air with Terry Gross. Currently he reviews for The Audio Beat and Point of Departure.

Jessica Deahl
Jessica Deahl is an editor for NPR's award-winning program All Things Considered. There she works closely with NPR hosts in the shaping of program segments and arranges interviews with key newsmakers in the most central, relevant stories of the day.

Karen Shakerdge
Karen Shakerdge is a health reporter/producer for WXXI and Side Effects Public Media. From a young anthropology student to a documentary film producer to an oral historian and now radio reporter, Karen has been asking people questions about their lives in one way or another for almost 10 years. The Association of Health Care Journalists recognized her story about liver transplantation with an Award for Excellence in Health Care Journalism. Her piece about breast density notification laws received a Mark of Excellence Award from the Society of Professional Journalists. Karen has a B.A. in Cultural Studies and Media Studies from The New School and M.A. from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism.

Wendy Rigby is a San Antonio native who has worked as a journalist for more than 25 years. She spent two decades at KENS-TV covering health and medical news. Now, she brings her considerable background, experience and passion to Texas Public Radio.
