Chris comes to KCUR as part of Guns & America, a reporting collaboration between 10 public media stations that is focused on the role of guns in American life. Hailing from Springfield, Illinois, Chris has lived in seven states and four counties. He previously served in the Army, and reported for newspapers in Kansas and Michigan. Chris lives in downtown Kansas City. He roots for St. Louis sports teams, which means he no longer cares about the NFL.

David Seidel is proud to lead the journalists at Radio IQ and WVTF as news director. David joined the newsroom in May 2017 and brings more than 20 years of experience in broadcast journalism in Virginia. Prior to joining Radio IQ David was an assistant news director, assignment manager and producer at WDBJ Television in Roanoke. He also worked as a reporter for WHSV Television in Harrisonburg. David graduated from Washington and Lee University in Lexington with degrees in journalism and history.

Coy began his radio career in 2016, after a close friend suggested that he should take an internship with KCUR over a similar offer from a local TV station. His pal's sage reasoning? Because Coy has "a voice for radio. And a face to match.” A producer, announcer, and all-around audiophile, Coy's favorite talk shows and news stories are the ones that explore the rich culture of Kansas City, the town he was raised in. Coy is also a fan of digital painting due to a deep-rooted aversion for paint stains. He lives on Kansas City's east side and knows how to properly pronounce "Sni-A-Bar" a feat few Kansas Citians can boast.

An-Li became a reporter while completing her law degree at Stanford. In law school, she wrote about housing affordability, criminal justice and economic development, among other topics. She also served as the intern to NPR Legal Affairs Correspondent Nina Totenberg in Washington, DC, helping Ms. Totenberg to cover the U.S. Supreme Court and other legal matters. Originally from Pittsburgh, An-Li interned with the investigations team at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette before joining WESA in August 2017.
