Funeral Services Scheduled for Deputy Aaron Roberts

Funeral services for Greene County Sheriff’s deputy, Aaron Roberts, will be held this week. Public visitation will be held Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 at Praise Assembly, 3535 N. Glenstone, and the service will follow at 2 p.m. Afterwards, there will be a procession and graveside service at Greenlawn Memorial Garden North, 3506 N. National.

Roberts died during flash flooding Friday night in Fair Grove. He had just cleared a 911 call and was returning to service when he radioed that his car was washed off the road. Rescuers found his body shortly after near his patrol car.
