About 300 MU students – and a few faculty and community members – met on MU’s Lowry Mall on Monday to demonstrate solidarity with the people of Gaza and show support for fellow student protesters across the nation who have faced police retaliation on campuses across the country.
Rasha Abousalem, Sadia Moumita, and Ian De Smet Fernandez were among the event’s designated peacekeepers and organizers.
