The Kansas City Underground Film Festival had just completed its opening night in March when community spread of the coronavirus forced the remainder of the event to be postponed. Seven months later, the event known for welcoming films never intended for commercial release is back on.

Segment 3, beginning at 39:47: An idea originally planned to hit the stage four years from now has become the first event of The Rep's latest season.
In only his second season with Kansas City Repertory Theatre, artistic director Stuart Carden made a nimble pivot to mount its current production in time for Halloween. In partnership with the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, the theatre is presenting six evenings of haunted music and tales on the museum's south lawn.
