Reparations In Kansas City | Missouri Medical Marijuana Debut

Segment 1, beginning at 5:20: Calls for reparations in this country date back to colonial days.

Examples of reparations awarded in this country range from Japanese Americans interned during World War II, to survivors of police abuse in Chicago and descendants of the victims of a 1923 massacre in Rosewood, Florida. Now, some people are making the case for reparations in Kansas City. He called it "smart economics."

Segment 2, beginning at 31:04: Fresh Green is the first medical marijuana dispensary to open in the Kansas City area.

Two days after opening, Fresh Green sold out of marijuana. As the new medical industry takes off in Missouri, the availability of product remains a concern. While many Missourians have patiently awaited the rollout, starting a new industry from scratch takes time.
