Greene County residents are cleaning up after storms that moved through early Monday morning. The City of Springfield Environmental Services reminds you that there are three drop-off recycling centers that accept leaves, sticks and other yardwaste. They’re open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The services are free to Springfield and Greene County residents, but donations are encouraged.
The City’s Yardwaste Recycling Center is located at 3790 S. Farm Rd. 119. Brush and yardwaste are accepted at the Franklin Avenue Recycling Center, 731 N. Franklin and at the Lone Pine Recycling Center, 3020 S. Lone Pine.
